Check out these AWESOME projects from Deana Boston using our June Hip Kit and June Add-On Kit.  She is great a clustering embellishments and she always adds her own doodling touch to her projects.  The pen stitching around the paper flowers is a great detail.  She also loves to use her sewing machine to add stitching to her pages and projects. 

LAYOUTS

These layouts and cards by Melanie Jarocki are fabulous.  She does a great job clustering embellishments, and creating custom edges and embellishments by hand cutting elements out of the patterned papers.  She also shows how far you can stretch one Kit.  Thanks Melanie for sharing your talent with us.

Orange border was hand cut from Scenic Route paper.  Also the notches in the black patterned paper were cut using a circle punch.  Melanie followed the circle pattern on the opposite side of the paper, and punched them out.  Flowers were also hand cut.

Our Guest designer, Elayne Grueber is on the design team for 3 Bugs in a Rug.  I am thrilled to have her design for our Hip Kit Club!!!  She does great work.  Lots of dimension, layering and detail.  Thanks Elayne for sharing your talent with us!

We had a great time at our Canvas Layout Class on Saturday.  This is the sample that I created.  I just need to add a little bit of twill to the bottom of the page.  It needs a little extra texture.  Creating your layout on a canvas is great because you can add as much dimension as you would like and you don't have to worry about it having to fit in a page protector. 

We will be offering this class again on Thursday, August 6th from 6:30-9pm  Class Fee $25.00 (includes canvas, paint, mod podge and brushes)  Other materials can be purchased the evening of the class.

Here is a layout that I did over the weekend.  I seem to always gravitate back to using at least some Jenni Bowlin & Sassafras Lass Products on my pages.  I just love the die cut borders and the colorful whimsical accent stickers from Sassafras Lass.  These Jenni Bowlin Alphabet Stickers are my favorite alphas right now! 

Sports pages are kind of difficult.  I didn't want it to look over embellished - so I struggled to find just the right elements. In the end I am quite happy with the finished project.
