Okay - so here it is - my newly remodeled "Scrap Palace"!  I am still working on adding the last finishing touches, but I am thrilled with how it turned out.  Gotta love Ikea!  My desks, bookshelves, wall sheves and many of the organizational products are from Ikea!  Michael's, Pier 1 and Target fill in with special touches.  The other gem is my antique buffet and hutch.  It is perfect to store the many mason jars filled with flowers, buttons and other small embellishments.  I will post final photos very soon.  Enjoy these for now!

Brand new arrival. Basic Grey Origins Collection!  We just received it today and the colors, patterns and textures are FABULOUS!!!  The combination of yellow, green and brown with an accent of black is so breathtaking.  It makes you think that Spring might just be around the bend, even if it isn't.  ;-D

Check out these great layouts and cards created by Cheryl Kelly-Van Domelen using the products in our December Hip Kit and Add-On Kit.  She did some really unique things on her Gingerbread House layout.  Lots of texture and dimension in all of her projects.  Great job Cheryl!

HIP PROJECT - MAGNETIC CALENDAR CLASS

Thursday, January 28th, 6:30-9:00pm

Get ready for the new year - and join us to create this unique magnetic calendar that comes complete with a distressed 16x16 black wood frame.  It has 31 magnetic numbers and 12 months - so that you can customize it for each month of the year.  This is a fabulous calendar because it can be used year after year.

You say you want to be able to write on it - no worries you can write on it with a dry erase marker and wipe it off at the end of every month and it will look as good as new.

Our sample is on display at the store just in case you want to get a closer look at it.  Supplies are limited so make sure to sign up soon. Prepayment is required to secure your spot - don't forget to call us at 425-396-1277 so that we process your payment and finalize your registration.

Check out this fabulous collection of layouts and cards created by Melanie Jarocki using the contents of our December Hip Kit & Add-On Kit.  I love the "Wonder of Nature" layout.  She used a bunch of punched out circles to create the scalloped border, and using the brown ink pad to distress the edges of each little circle made the layering effect stand out.  Melanie also does a great job incorporating a lot of photos onto her pages without having her layouts look over crowded.  Great job Melanie.  Your layouts really captured all that this festive time of the year had to offer!

Deana Boston did it again!!!  Great layouts and cards using the products included in our December Hip Kit & Add-On Kit.  I love the scalloped ruffle on her "Arizona Bound" and "Merry Christmas" layouts.  It is a fabulous detail that adds such interesting lines and texture.  If you haven't tried the EK Success border punches - you have to get at least one of them.  They make creating decorative borders an absolute breeze.  The Collage Press Alphabet Stickers have a ton of letters to work with.  I love the way Deana randomly combined upper and lower case letters to create her titles.  Awesome job Deana!
