Hi Everyone!

I know that spring is here in many areas of the country… tulips & daffodils are blooming, the trees are starting to get their leaves.  I love this time of the year… everything feels so fresh and new.  :D  Today I want to share what I am calling our April/May Hip Kit – which celebrates the beautiful colors of spring.  This collection is featuring products from the brand new Pier collection from Crate Paper, along with other amazing papers and embellishments from American Crafts, Echo Park, October Afternoon & Basic Grey.

We are changing up a few things…  which is why we have combined April & May into 1 kit.  Starting this month, our kit for the upcoming month will debut on the 15th of each month, and it will ship on the 1st of the following month.  (Our June kit will debut on May 15th and ship out to you on June 1st).  Payments for your kits will be processed on the 20th (10 days prior to shipping).  We just wanted to move our ship dates to the 1st of the month – rather than the middle of the month – this will make things much more predictable for everyone.  Our April/May Hip Kit & Add-On Kits will begin shipping on May 1st – so you will have it just in time to create your mother’s day cards and projects!!!

We are also incorporating a new Add-On Kit into the mix each month…  for those of you who love trying new techniques and adding a little extra color into your projects – we are excited to announce our new Color Add-On Kit!!!  Each month it will include color based products, like mists, ink, paint, glitter, embossing powder, stamps and masks – all of which will coordinate with your main kit and will be great things to have on hand for all kinds of projects.  For those of you who are unsure how to use the products in our Color Add-On Kit – not to worry…  we are also going to be adding a Tips & Tricks video series to our Youtube channel that will show you all kinds of fun ways to put these things to use.  We will be sharing our first Tips & Tricks video on May 5th, so keep an eye out for that.  You can subscribe to our Youtube channel and you will be notified every time we share something new.  :D  Great things are in the works…  so stay tuned!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

I am so excited to share our February 2013 Hip Kit and Add-On Kits with you tonight!!!  I am so sorry that I am a little bit late with our debut.  Initially, this month’s kit was designed to include products from Echo Park’s Happy Go Lucky Collection.  However, last week, we found out that this line was delayed and wouldn’t be shipping until mid-March.  Yikes!!!  So… back to the drawing board I went to design a completely new Hip Kit for this month.  As much as I liked the other one, I will tell you that I absolutely LOVE the new one & and I think you will too!   

Most of the products included in our February Hip Kit are brand new releases, that are just beginning to ship this week.   This is a high volume time for our manufacturers as they are shipping orders placed at CHA, and our orders are mixed in with these.  I am hoping I hoping that we will have everything in hand so that we can begin shipping on the 20th.  However,  it may be as late as the 25th.   I do appreciate your patience and understanding.  Sometime when we try to include brand new products – we are at the mercy of our manufacturers.  Regardless…  I think that you will find this collection to be definitely worth the wait!!!

Hi Everyone!

Running a bit behind this month…  It is a very busy time of the year for my family.  School is almost ready to get out for the summer, which means lots of last minute school projects, banquets and meetings in addition to all of the sports practices and games.  Plus, tomorrow I head over to the University of Washington to help Megan move out of the dorms and back home for the summer.  I am soooo looking forward to having her home.  I have missed her a ton!  Once she is home, things will get back on track around here.
