Bethany here today to share one of the layouts I created with the awesome June Hip Kit and Embellishment Add-On Kit.

The My Mind's Eye twine found in the June Embellishment Add-On Kit was perfect for my layout that documents a yarn bombing art installation I visited in one of our local parks! I wanted the twine to have an organic feel on the page, so I let it fall where it wanted and then used a clear drying glue to adhere it to the page as I tweaked it a bit.

There is loads of fun patterned paper in this kit - so random strips of those great papers, plus layers of tags, stickers and chipboard give this layout a fun, artsy feel.

Bethany here today to share a card that I created with our fabulous June Hip Kit and a smidge of chipboard from our June Embellishment Add-On Kit.

I never seem to have masculine cards in my stash, so this kit with the Echo Park 'This and That' is a perfect solution to this issue...although, this card is cute enough to send to one of my baseball-loving girlfriends too!

Lots of layers and a splatter of Mister Huey's mist in Studio White. The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is a stamp from my stash. I think this card would be great as a birthday, congratulations or happy summer card!

It is Bethany here with you today to share the layout I was I was inspired to create using this month's inspiration sketch by Jillibean Soup and our amazing June Hip Kit...

I love the grid style of this sketch. Such a great way to fit multiple photos and lots of fun details on a page! There's one of those cute canvas cameras again! This one with is embellished with a super cute button for the lens...

Love the paper bag envelopes found in our June Embellishment Add-On Kit. It is perfect to hold a tag for journaling up in the right hand corner...

The confetti was created with a simple hole punch...so simple, but adds a festive touch!

Note: The date stamp? That's the SMASH date stamp that lots of you have from our December 2011 Embellishment Add-On kit.   Such a fun tool to use on projects and can still be found here!

Hi all!
Bethany here again with another layout created with our  fabulous May Hip Kit.  Recently I've been snapping a LOT of pictures with the super fun Instagram app on my phone.   I've decided to start an album for these fun pics....so here's my first ever 8.5"x11" layout!   I think this will be a great size to work with for my Instagram album!

I used the fantastic Studio Calico chevron mask and Mister Huey's Opaque White from the May Embellishment Kit on this layout.  Super fun texture on that dark Crate Paper, eh?  Totally love it!

If you have never created an 8.5"x11" layout give it a try! It was really fun to try something new and get the perspective of creating on this smaller scale - without it being too mini. There's still plenty of room for all those fun embellishments from the Hip Kits on this size layout! Be sure to check out Pinterest for some more fun 8.5"x11" layout inspiration from the other Hip Kit Designers...

Bethany here today to share three cards that I created featuring the beautiful, bold floral 'Daisy Mae' paper from Basic Grey's PB&J collection that can be found in the May Hip Kit...

The second card features 1.5" squares of specific flowers from the paper...  On this card, I cut down the 'oh so thrilled' sticker to match the paper squares and then put a pop dot under it for a bit of dimension.

And the third card features fussy cut flowers and leaves from the paper...

Isn't it fun how versatile one piece of patterned paper can be?!  Hope you're inspired to go create with your May Hip Kit!

It's Bethany blogging today. :)  I'm absolutely loving this May Hip Kit! It's such a fun, happy, colorful kit to create with.  The Studio Calico Chevron Mask that is part of the Embellishment Add-On Kit is fantastic, and I'm having so much fun playing with it.

Here's a card I created using this mask and the Mister Huey's Real Red mist that is also included in our May Embellishment Add-On Kit...

I love how the red mist looks when used on the American Crafts Fireberry cardstock...allowing the chevron pattern to create some great texture without stealing the show!

All of the other goodies on my card can be found in our main May Hip Kit.
