A Fabulous Mini Book Created with the June Hip Kit & Add-On Kit

by Kimberly 6. July 2009 09:10

Check out this awesome little acrylic mini book created by Melanie Jarocki using the products in our June Hip Kit & Add-On Kit.  She added some plain white cardstock pages to her book to give it some extra dimension.  I love the way she stitched around the edges of the cardstock with red thread.  A simple detail but it adds so much!  I also love the rub-ons.  They really bring the concept of an acrylic book to life.  Thanks Melanie.  Great job!

The front acrylic page had the rub-on words and
stars and the chipboard number.

As you turn the page the rub-ons are peeled away.  The back of the chipboard number is covered with a sticker.

This is absolutely darling!  I love the use of the mini bingo cards and how they are sticking up out of the book.  Great job!

It is hard to tell - but the acrylic pages are an interesting addition as well.  I will have to see if we can get some more detailed photos of those acrylic pages.  Smile

If you look hard you will see tiny little bingo cards throughout the book.  Melanie cut them from the packing for the Jenni Bowlin Mini Bingo cards and used them to accent her pages.  Look closely.  This is a great way to stretch your products.  Nice idea Melanie.
