Cut a piece of tissue trim that is 2x the length you want your ruffle to be. -
Apply double sided tape along the straight edge of your trim -
Create folds that overlap to make the pleats. -
Put adhesive onto your project where you want to place your pleated trim rather than putting adhesive directly onto your trim. This trick will prevent the delicate ruffled trim from ripping. -
Carefully add the trim over the adhesive on your project. -
Layer a strip of paper or ribbon over the straight edge of your pleated trim to give it a finished look. Great work Cindy!!!
