Kristin here. Here you will find some cards that I made using the February 2012 Hip Kit. I am not much of a card maker so this has been a fun challenge for me to design some cards. I will say - that this is a great way to use up all those scraps and remaining embellishments in your kit after creating your layouts.
UR Special Today Card
I used my Mister Huey Mists from previous kits to make the splotches on my card. It adds an interesting detail to a plain piece of cardstock. I also just got the We R Memory Keepers Sew Stampers. They are easy to use pre=inked stamps that enable you to add stitching to any project without having to pull out your sewing machine.
Happy Day Card
I love the little Lilybee Alphabet stickers that were included in the February 2012 Embellishment Add-On Kit. They work perfectly for cards.

I pulled out a couple of decorative border punches to give additional detail to my card.
Amazing Day Card
For this card, I used my craft knife and cut out the middle of the patterned paper to create a window effect. I added a couple of hand written words to the sentiment. I used a glaze pen and heat embossed my handwriting with some embossing powder. This trick gave my card that finishing touch.
I hope you will try making some cards of your own – with some of your little bits and pieces from your kits or supplies that you have on hand.
