| Hi Everyone! It is Kristin here with you today and I have a fun layout to share with you that I created with our inspiring August Hip Kit. I've had my Disneyland and Legoland pictures from this past July bouncing around in my head. My good friend Amy, who also went to Disneyland and Legoland in July, has been begging me to use one of our Hip Kits to create a few layouts using my vacation photos so that she could copy my layouts using her Hip Kit. So… here you go Amy!!! The last Disney layouts I did were your traditional Disney layouts using Mickey Black, Yellow and Red with all the traditional Disney embellishments. This time around I jumped in and used the products in our August Hip Kit. I didn’t scrap every photo from our vacation – which is something different for me. Instead, I incorporated a few individual photo sleeves so that I could include all of my photos in my album. I created a two page layout so that I could incorporate a lot of photos. A great way to do this is to use wallet size photos along with a couple of standard size photos. I managed to get 15 pictures my page. (One 4x6, two 4x3's and 12 2x3's). The aqua paper, ribbon and letters and the red embellishments coordinated perfectly with my pictures. Lightning McQueen is red and a lot of the signage and window trim in Cars Land were aqua. I printed out all of my pictures separately, however, in rethinking it, I would have probably had an easier time if I had I printed them in a collage. You can't tell it from here, but I popped up one picture on each page. You can see them better from the detail pictures below. |
